been a while

Ive been busy with the new person in my life. Kailea Marcelline born feb 7th, 2008. She is the biggest sweetie and i am soo happy to have her in my life. Since her arrival I haven't been able to keep up to date with as much as I hope to but it is all gradually coming back together.  

Currently, I have not done any new works since the show Swell @ Concyse. I have been however working on an album cover for a local hip hop crew and look forward to seeing that take shape and get published. I have designed their new logo that they will be using on all their stuff so I am very excited about that. 

But I am getting back up and running with my artwork so in time there will be more new stuff to show here. Till then here is that logo....

did i mention i'm fully random at times? A lot of these images may appear fairly random, maybe not to you but they are not really in any chronological order.

This one is a photo i shot in Harlem, New York I think it was 2005.. shot with a pentax 35 mm SLR in blackc & white film developed in a dark room.

If you haven't realized it yet I'm also really into graphics. Taking my original drawings and photographs and manipulating them in
photoshop, indesign and illustrator. This one is pretty new, you might see it around town.... its the King Bird.

Che portrait

1. This is one of my more recent paintings done for a friends birthday a week ago. It is from a picture of Che in his later years, far from the image we are all used to seeing him.

This is my first time painting portraits in this way and it is a style i think i am going to develope on more. This one was done on canvas with watercolors & pen.

A lot of this art has been displayed at DNA. ACtually most of it has been sold so, this is some of my only records of them.
